There was plenty of delight at Michaelstowe as residents received their finished pottery owls from a recent workshop.

The beautifully completed creations have now arrived back at the home, and residents were clearly pleased to see the results of their work. Photographs show residents proudly holding up their owls and smiling, capturing the sense of satisfaction that comes from seeing a creative project brought to life.

These follow-up moments can be just as meaningful as the workshop itself. Receiving the finished pieces gives residents the chance to reflect on the experience, admire their own handiwork and share in each other’s achievements. The owls are full of character, and it is lovely to see how much enjoyment they have brought.

A special thank you goes to Rachael from Good Life Making for providing such a positive and creative experience for residents at Michaelstowe. Activities like pottery can support wellbeing in many ways, encouraging self-expression, concentration and confidence, while also creating lasting reminders of time spent together.

At Michaelstowe, the arrival of the pottery owls has been a wonderful continuation of the project, giving residents a chance to celebrate their finished work and enjoy the results of their creativity.
